End-of-Year Appeal 2025
2025 was a year of great achievements for White Center Food Bank. We sunset our Capital Campaign after raising $1.5 million over our $8.6 million goal and, after paying off our loan, we own our new building and are debt free; we sold out the 4th Annual Taste of White Center; we expanded our gleaning programs at West Seattle and Burien Farmers Markets, with farmers donating more than 45,000 pounds of produce; we hosted multiple artists for Rat City Art Walk and multiple community partners meetings; we held donor appreciation events; we became an AED community location; we finished the mural on our warehouse with artist Takiyah Ward; we hosted Trusted Messenger community listening sessions to inform our strategic planning process; and we reached our fundraising goals for all our annual appeals and events!

All this positive news comes as we continue to see more households than ever before relying on our services to feed their families. SNAP/food stamp benefits are restored for now, but the future remains uncertain. We were already stretched thin before this impact and are currently navigating how to move forward.
That said, we've seen and incredible outpouring of support and many of you are new donors. We could not be more grateful!
We know that we can take care of our community. As always, we are stronger together.
Please keep our community fed during our 2025 End-of-Year Appeal by making a gift that is significant to you. Despite current events, our best days are ahead of us.
As a community, we will continue bringing people together, one plate at a time.
